With this URL, Interactive map should open in a new window.
You may be surprised to see just plain map with nothing about the trip. It is done on purpose to prevent confusion and information overload. Read on and things will become clear.
1. To navigate through this map use the vertical panel on left side of the map with heading: South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe....
2. Panel has five squares, Each square represents a Layer
First square/Layer says " Start and Masai Mara 5-7 A...".
Fifth swquare/layer says " Return : Johannesburg, Nairobi..."
Now onards only word "layer" will be used.
3. Click on the last layer, this will"open the layer" many things will appear showing contents in that layer, ie about return from the trip.Simultaneously same contents will also appear on the map,which are self explanatory.
4. Click on all squares from bottom up,This opens all the layers and MAP- PHO - GRAPH of complete trip will be seen on the map. same as is given in the screen shot placed above.
Amount of information of full map is overwhelming. So For proper viewing layer by layer viewing is suggested. Close all layers from bottom up. Leave first layer open.
5. This will show start of the trip from Mumbai Airport. To navigating through the map,Place the cursor on first item "05Aug18. Chhatrapati Shivaj....." This will highlight Mumbai Airport on Map. As this is a small area so zoom at mumbai airpot. Now Click on "05Aug18. Chhatrapati Shivaj....."an information panel will open IN THE MAP giving info about that mumbai airport. Photos also have been uploades which will be seenin the panel. .
6. Next place cursoe on next item " 05Aug18. ROUTE _ MUMBAI.." This will highlight route followed by our flight. As route covers large area on map, zoom OUT. Click on route and read info about the flight.
This way you can navigate throughout the Map.
